If you’re an Allworx system user, changing your message even daily to keep it fresh and relevant as we have consistently recommended for better business results, is easy.
Here’s how to do it:
From any Allworx phone, dial the 3-digit number of the Auto Attendant greeting that you’d like to change. Usually this is a 400 number (if you’re not sure of this number, check with an equipment vendor like JHB). The current greeting will begin to play. If this is not the greeting that you would like to change, hang up and dial a different Auto Attendant number (often 431 through 438 are all valid Auto Attendant numbers).While the greeting is playing, press # and then 9. You will hear a short beep.
- Enter the Administrator password followed by # (if not sure of your password, check with an equipment vendor like JHB).
- Press 1 to select the Day greeting or 2 to select the Night greeting.
- Press 2 to change the greeting.
- Record the greeting and press # when finished. The greeting will begin to play back.
- Press 1 to save the new greeting or press 2 to re-record the greeting again.
- Press SPEAKER or hang up to exit programming
That’s it! You’re done, and your service-friendly new message is ready to be heard!
